In accordance with the User Guide for the management of Import Permits for Controlled Substances, issued by the National Health Regulatory Authority (ANRS) of the Ministry of Health of Nicaragua and published on March 9, 2026, we hereby inform you of the following:
- The objective is to establish the requirements set forth in the user guide for managing applications for Import Permits for Controlled Substances before the Directorate of Pharmacy.
- The guide covers the process from the submission of the Import Permit application in the Karplus System through to the issuance of the import permit.
- It details the requirements for submitting Import Permits for Controlled Substances (Psychotropics, Narcotics, and Precursors) in the Karplus System, as well as the steps to follow to manage and obtain the Import Permit.
