In accordance with CIRCULAR ANRS-DOM-BRML-0001-03-2026 issued by the Medical Devices Directorate on March 25, 2026, regarding online procedures for the importation of Medical Devices through the VUCEN platform, we hereby inform you that:
- The transitional provisions of Administrative Resolution No. 0020/2025 “Online import procedures for Medical Devices through the VUCEN platform,” Annex 1, Chapter VII, Articles 12 and 13, are hereby terminated.
- It is hereby notified that all authorized Distributors already have all Medical Device Sanitary Registrations uploaded to the KARPLUS platform.
- As of the entry into force of this circular, all establishments must process their import procedures for Medical Devices through the VUCEN platform in accordance with the requirements and procedures established in the aforementioned Administrative Resolution.
- This circular shall enter into force on April 13, 2026.
